About Chef Ozlem

Chef Oz began her culinary journey in 2007. After graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education and interning at Restaurant Daniel's Feast & Fetes, Chef Oz moved to the kitchens of Abigail Kirsch at Chelsea Piers. There, Chef Oz honed her catering and event planning and organization skills. Chef Oz then launched her catering business, Au Mas Turque, preparing meals for parties and events from Kingston to the Hamptons. Chef Oz delights in pairing the perfect wines with her meals, capitalizing on her experience at Sherry Lehmann Wines & Spirits in New York City to find the most complimentary pairing.

Beyond her professional training and experience, Chef Oz comes from a family deeply immersed in the power of food as a central and unifying theme. There is a sense of genuine love for her craft in every dish Chef Oz prepares. Born in Turkey, she marries strong cultural ties to her homeland with the innovation and diversity of American cuisine.
